Biography
After a BA degree in Modern History (University of Siena, Italy) and a MA in Communication and Information Sciences (Tilburg University, The Netherlands), Alice has been practicing her craft working in the field of data journalism and data literacy trainings since 2014: first as a freelancer, then as lead data journalist at the Amsterdam-based startup Silk till 2016.
From 2018 she is project leader at Batjo, a Google DNI funded project investigating the intersection of journalism, data and digital fabrication.
Currently, she is also a consultant and instructor in the field of data processing, communication and visualization.
She ❤ to work with activists, no-profits and universities. And to solve problems with Python.
